Shipping and Returns

Shopping Cart

Items placed in the Shopping Cart are not reserved for you. An order is not reserved until you complete the checkout process. Items only remain in the Shopping Cart for a limited time and may be removed from the Shopping Cart as stock status changes. Changes will reflect once you click “Checkout.”

Shipping

We will ship orders as soon as possible after we receive proof of payment. Usually within 1-3 workdays after payment has been confirmed. Please ensure you enter your delivery address and billing address correctly.

All items on our online shop are shipped via our appointed Couriers only, and the options are available to you at checkout. The shipping cost at checkout is automatically calculated based on the weight & dimensions per product. The fee payable is determined by our appointed Couriers.

We ensure your order is suitably packaged for Courier handling.

Our courier service providers do offer insurance cover up to a certain value, and it is at our discretion to arrange for cover over and above their limits. To assist us in ensuring you receive your order in the condition in which it is despatched, we ask you to take note:

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO FOLLOW ON RECEIPT OF YOUR ORDER

  1. Be sure, on receipt, to sign receipt noting “Order received but not checked”.
  2. If you assume damage or tampering, please take photographs as you open the order, and photograph each item.
  3. Please inspect your order and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and rectify, if required.

Note that iShaja Mobile Solar Solutions shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience due to delivery delays. We are, and you are, by extension, subject to the Courier’s terms and conditions, which are available on their websites.

Return Policy

iShaja Mobile Solar Solutions has a 30-day conditional return policy, which means you have 30 days after purchasing your item to request a return. Items for return are done so at your expense, including courier and transit insurance if applicable.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, new and unused, in its original unopened packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start the return process, you can email us at info@ishaja.co.za, or Whatsapp  064 098 2618 If your return is approved, we shall send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions for shipping and the delivery address for your return. We can also assist by arranging for our courier sub-contractor to collect the item for return. We recommend you consider transit insurance if you do not want to bear the risk of the value of the item.

Once the return item is received, we shall evaluate and inspect, and, if you are eligible for a refund. If a refund is due, it will be processed as per your original method of payment, be it card, SnapScan, or direct EFT. If we arranged shipment of the return, we shall refund less the cost of courier and insurance.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom orders, and branded products, and delicate items such as LED light accessories.

We cannot accept a return of an item misused, such as a charger damaged by lightning or water, or physical damage.

Items such as power banks and batteries are not eligible for return due to the nature of use. We suggest you understand the instructions of use correctly, and, if unsure, contact us via WhatsApp  064 098 2618 or email info@ishaja.co.za.

Warranties of 6 months on Solar Products Only

iShaja Mobile Solar Solutions warrant all products to be free of defects at the time of shipping. All products are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and warranties. For any defects items will be tested. Should the test return that the product is defective, we will exchange the product, issue a store credit, or refund. The manufacturer or iShaja as its official distributing agent will, at their sole discretion, determine if the repair or replacement can be honoured under the terms of the warranty. The decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into thereafter.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item as described in our Return Policy, and once the return is accepted, we will issue a store credit which can be used to make a separate purchase for a different item(s).

Refunds Due to Stock Status

The provision of goods and services by iShaja Mobile Solar Solutions is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, iShaja Mobile Solar Solutions will refund the client in full, in the same manner the original payment was received.
